Everything was delicious except for the scarlet skin in the dynamite roll. The food options were great and we also had some drinks. The atmosphere was perfect for hanging out, although if you choose to sit outside, you may be bothered by smoke from nearby tables. Inside, the loud music with heavy bass from the live performances in the back may be disruptive to some diners.
After visiting this restaurant multiple times, we finally decided to give it a try. We ordered three dishes that were served over the course of 30 minutes, with a new dish arriving every 10 minutes. While the quality was acceptable, it fell short of being good. Furthermore, the prices were too high for the quality of food we received. If you are looking for a better value and faster service, we recommend trying a different restaurant. We do not plan on returning to this establishment.
We dined at this restaurant around midnight on a weekday, so there were only a few other customers in the restaurant. The atmosphere was very Japanese, almost overwhelmingly so. The service was average - the staff were not very attentive compared to other restaurants I have been to. We had to really work to get their attention, even though there were not many other diners present. The server who took our order was slow to check on us, but not unfriendly. The food was good, we enjoyed the rolls and donburi we ordered. We left feeling satisfied, overall it was a good meal.
We kind of give it back and forth during our stay, and finally we went to dinner first, as my cousin lives down the street we gave him a try. he recommended this place very much. authentic Japanese cuisine especially the garnelentempura was so juicy., crispy and tasty. we also had different sushi rolls and salate. I loved everything. we are fans of sushi and dine out for sushin regularly in los angeles. this was definitiw about standard sushi preparation and in some sections it was good. the owner is regularly there and he is a sweeter and a softly spoken man. our service was good. I guess the specials change to the owners daily preference. I would recommend this little place definatiw. it has left my palate an unforgettable taste.
We had dinner here for two around 12mn on a weekday so there's only a couple besides us in the restaurant. The atmosphere feels very Japanese, almost too Japanese. The service is mediocre. The staff are very inattentive, as compared to other restaurants I went to. I had to really get their attention (almost shouting, standing up) even if there were no other guests to attend to. Also, the server who took our order is not accommodating. Not rude though, but not welcoming. The food is good. I liked the roll we ordered and the donburi. I felt full afterwards. It was a good meal.
