It's a peaceful and tranquil little tea shop that serves delicious food. Everything on the menu is vegetarian, and I didn’t notice any dairy or eggs, so it might all be vegan, though I can't say for certain. The fried mushrooms were amazing, and I will definitely return!
Adventuring for food as a vegan can be challenging, but it becomes even more difficult when you’re also avoiding pungent foods for better mental and physical well-being. I'm so grateful to have discovered this place! We enjoyed a short walk to the second floor where the Buddhist hall is located. The food was excellent; my family and I finished everything and even ordered some snacks to go (fries and vegan nuggets). These are an absolute must-try! For a party of four, our total, including takeout, was about $35 USD.
This restaurant is truly a hidden gem, as most people tend to flock to the upscale teahouse next door, which only offers a limited selection of vegan options. As mentioned in other reviews, this eatery is located within the temple and is officially open only to temple members. However, after politely inquiring, the staff was more than willing to serve us and were incredibly friendly. It’s probably the quietest place I’ve visited in Metro Manila so far, and the food was excellent at very reasonable prices. We would definitely return and are thrilled to have discovered this lovely spot.
You gotta try this place, it’s in a beautiful temple and the food is sooooo delicious here
