El Tequila Mexican Steakhouse

The staff was rude. Took 30 minutes to take our order and still not out in an hour. The owner said if you don't like it just leave. It needs the doors shut. I am a local food guide and they will be getting an awful review.

The greeting by the obviously overwhelmed older gent was short and very much stressed. Instead of walking us to our seat he just showed us the way by a turn of his head and said sit at the booth. Not at all impressed at this point. A much younger gent took care of us for ordering and checking on us during mealtime. He definitely made up for his co-workers downfalls. He was very pleasant happy and not stressed so his kindness and eagerness to please was shining through . Food was good for Midwest. Only complaint about the food was the spicy salsa...was not spicy at all for me.

Nothing special but average food. Seating needs to be fixed. Booth we where is had a cushion that desperately needs replaced.

Fantastic customer service: top notch. Food? Even better. I moved to KY from Southern California. This reminds me of home
