Ibis - Meung-sur-Loire

Very cheap and cheap! Perfect to make a stopover west of France!

Bad experience. The place is located on an industrial site. No vegetation outside. Strong scent of sewers that forced us to ask for a change of room, but did not serve anything because the smell remained persistent in the entrance hall, in the hallway and in the room. A smell that awakened me during the night several times. Small room without any comfort No shutters, but just a occulting curtain. No bathroom: small sink in the room as well as a plastic shower cabin with a door that has not closed and soaked the carpet of the room. Only positive: the kindness of the staff.

The hotel is neat, clean bedding, simple but clean sanitary. Simple but good and sufficient breakfast. The second floor is probably less used and is much cleaner than the ground floor. The first time two days ago, it was very bad. Some kind of sewer smell. In the morning, the air was gone. (Second floor) The second time, today, we find that the room was not sucked, there is a hole in the duvet cover, the door was not removed. (Original view) Hotel is netjes, gooon beddengoed, sanitair eenvoudig, maar voldoende en gooon. Ontbijt eenvoudig, maar goed en voldoende. De tweede verdieping wordt waarschijnlijk minder gebruikt en is beduidend schoner dan de begane grond. D'eerste keer, twee dagen geleden, stonk het enorm. Een soort rioollucht. Morgens was lucht weg. (Tweede verdieping) De tweede keer, vandaag, zien we dat de kamer niet gestofzuigd is, er zit een gaatje in dekbedhoes, deur is niet afgenomen. (Begane grond)

Identical to the other blue ibises. Easy access. Parking, nice staff.

Quiet location, not far from the highway, attractive prices. Small advice, ask to have the rooms on the back of the building.
