Fran's - Meyersdale

My friend and I went to Fran's shortly before 8:00 a.m. to play a game with a pool after dinner. Our drinks were stunned when we played the pool, and we're squandered. We may remember falling into the bar the next day when we discovered numerous blue spots on our knees, head and hands; and when we talked to friends later, they told us when we called them, we said we were thrown away from the bar staff. The next day we filed complaints with the New Hope Police Department. 13 days later, and the police were unable to get shots of Frans or even know if it exists or the cameras work!

Usually I don't write any negative reviews, but this place was a NO from me. Beer wasn't cold enough and the food was something of the worst food I ever had. We have fried pimples, cheese steak egg rolls, pot stickers and pizza. It was NASTY. Pizza was boiled and tasted like nothing. The fried apps made my stomach hurt and tasted like nothing but frying oil. That means it was totally overpriced. Our beer came in a plastic cup, but all the others around us had a glass gun so I don't know what was going on. The decor itself was sweet and had a good atmosphere. Our server was attentive and nice. I wouldn't say no, but I'd never eat 100% here again.

We really enjoyed an afternoon here. It was nice to sit outside and the staff was very friendly. We were looking for a bite and a few beers just to relax. The pub and the people fit this mood. The food was good and plentiful, like the drinks. We'll be back.

The outside tiki bar is adorable in nice weather. We love the original inside bar with pool table. Nice big tables to gather around for great food. Fast and friendly service. Awesome pizza and specials!!
