The building, originally intended as a hotel, was built in an eclectic-neo-renaissance style and is listed. The Mezőhegyes State Stud Farm was built in 1885, the year of its 100th anniversary. Its architectural significance is that it is the country's only remaining timber-framed (fachwerkes) building. The restaurant can accommodate 200 people and the function room upstairs can accommodate 60 people and can also hold events. Student and tourist groups can stay in his guest house. Average cuisine, modest drink selection, but they have a surprisingly cheap Highland India Pale Ale beer. The service is formally polite, but not at all kind. I tell you how big the soup is, the waiter doesn't respond. The prices are very reasonable.
