Coral Reef Restaurant

Probably the most expensive in Cabo, but still not bad. per dish. Lots of variety. Friendly servers. Up on the story. No ocean view.

Atop the Cabo Pulmo Beach Resort dive shop, this indoor/outdoor restaurant was our favorite in this dusty little dive town. Their small staff served up margaritas and frothy cocktails, hearty Mexican seafood specialties, an assortment of Italian pasta dishes and salads, plus a succulent chicken...breast with mashed potatoes – just the thing if you’ve had your fill of fish tacos. There were good wireless and games like Jenga, and Backgammon to play in the bar, and a TV broadcasting the current basketball game.

We stopped in here for dinner and were very surprised to see that neither the waiter nor the chef were wearing masks at any point. The food was average at best and, as others have mentioned, overpriced. We understand there are limited resources but the...other restaurants in town have much better food and were trying to abide by recommended covid practices.

We arrived unannounced with a large group and they were very accommodating! The best meals were the tacos de carnitas, enchilada and the beef tacos. And the margaritas were wonderful!

While staying at the Cabo Pulmo Dive Center we ate at the resturant for all of our meals. The food was great with a nice variety of dishes. I had never had cabrillo before and it was served deliciously. The ceviche was the best we had anywhere in Baja and gthey make good margaritas as well. Being on the second floor offerd a great view of the mountains and ocean.
