Smith Wollensky - Miami Beach

Unfortunately, my ribeye steak order was a bit of a disaster; I think it had been reheated and overcooked, so it was definitely no longer medium-rare. After a couple of bites, I decided to give it away. Given the price of the steak, I had higher expectations. On a positive note, they did acknowledge this issue, which was appreciated. As for the side of scallops and bone marrow, it was quite strange. The scallops leaned more toward the fishy side, and I ended up digging into the bone it was served on, which probably wasn’t the best idea.

This is a lovely restaurant with a fantastic view, making it an ideal spot for a date night. We started our meal with the bread, which was exceptional—so soft and freshly baked. We also had the burrata as an appetizer, and it was delightful. It tasted incredibly fresh, especially when combined with the balsamic glaze. For our main course, we ordered the dry-aged porterhouse for two. While the steak was good, I was a bit let down, particularly since I've dined at some of the top steakhouses and had high expectations for this one. Overall, it was enjoyable, but given the price, I anticipated something better. Our waiter, Cooper, was fantastic—I highly recommend requesting him!

This restaurant is a classic, and the food is fantastic. Unfortunately, the service leaves much to be desired. The staff tends to upsell on everything. For example, when a couple joined our table and mentioned they only had sparkling water, the waiter immediately asked if we wanted flat water. I don't appreciate being pushed to buy more than I need. While the food is excellent, everything else could use improvement. Some staff members are great, but others can make you feel unwelcome.

The place is really nice. Hubby took me here for Valentines day. The waiter took a while to tend to us but overall okay. The food was so rich, saucy and buttery my stomach couldn't handle it. After we left we had to pull over so I can vomit right before the highway. I brought everything up. It was too oily. Hubby was ok. My favorite was the appetizer shrimp the ccomplimentary bread.

The personal was so great and entertaining and quite large during our AAO event. the prospects, drinks and eating were unmatched. highly recommended! we even saw some cruise ships. great experience!
