Spitfire Mediterranean Streetfood

The food was amazing with an authentic Turkish flavor. The venue itself wasn't very impressive, but once we sat down for dinner, we couldn't resist. The portions were generous, especially the bowl dish which easily fed two people. Overall, the prices were very reasonable for the amount of food we received.

It is uncommon to find Mediterranean gyro restaurants like this one. Most Mediterranean restaurants typically use pre-made gyro dishes bought from restaurant suppliers and do not cook with vertical broilers. However, this restaurant makes their own gyro meat and it is truly one of the best gyros I have ever tasted in the USA. As shown in the picture, they use a vertical broiler, which is essential for making gyro. The food is fresh and the service is excellent. Thank you!

This restaurant serves authentic European-style doner kebabs that are fresh and full of flavor! It is definitely worth checking out if you are in Miami. The two ladies working at the counter were very friendly and helpful.

So good fresh! it was our first stop on our trip to miami, happened over it and we stopped it to our last stop eating at the airport. Portions are huge, we saved our left overs for the next day. great service! hopefully it will be back!
