I looked at the menu from this restaurant and was very excited to eat there. We arrived at the restaurant and it seem very nice plus it was almost empty so we figured it would be a pleasant experience. Boy, was I wrong!!!! The service was AWFUL! They took a long time to take our order and once that took place the waitress came back to inform us that 3 of the things we ordered weren't available. We finally switched the order and the appetizers and soups took 15 minutes to arrive and to top that off the chicken soup was extremely salty. With that said, the entrées took a total of 35 minutes to come to the table. We ended up taking the food to go. I was expecting to enjoy my food in the comfort on my office but the Greek Salad with shrimp that I had still had poop in the vein so I ended up throwing the food away. The fettuccine Alfredo that my friend ordered was horrible. You can taste the oil instead of the creamy sauce. We make better pasta at home and we don't consider ourselves great cooks. Overall, the experience we had was not a pleasant one. We will not be going back to the restaurant and don't recommend it to anyone. Save yourself the headache and don't go there.
This restaurant was one of the best in Miami Springs, but with all the management changes, it has changed for the worse. Slow service and cold entrees.
During going new management. Wait for good feedback before going.
This place is very nice...not your average steakhouse with blaring music and loud conversation. Very cozy and almost intimate...the lights are low...beautiful stained glass windows and tiffany style chandeliers...oversized booths and gorgeous mahogany woodwork. Very lovely just to sit and enjoy an espresso if nothing else. The pricing is very reasonable for the quality of the food and the food is EXCELLENT. I had the filet minion with rice and Caesar salad for less than 24 bucks...the steak was so thick and juicy...the rice was very tasty as well...the bread was okay....and the butter was tough for lack of a better word...my sweetie had the chicken parmesan which he absolutely loved....he raved about it....the food melts like butter in your mouth and it is terrific! The service was okay....not anything extraordinary. One drawback were the balloons ...they blow up huge balloons for the kids...but in a setting like that if one should pop it most certainly would cause a scene. Very out of place for the atmosphere. Second, my sweetie and I were the only blacks in the place and we were getting stared down...the hostesses face almost dropped when we walked in...We are from Tampa, FL so not from around here...but there must be some secret we didn’t know...some are sensitive to this sort of thing so if you’re a minority and are sensitive take a friend. Overall, I would definitely recommend this steakhouse; the pricing is no more than what you would pay at Outback...but you get soo much more. I read reviews on EVERYTHING...and I value the experiences of others so as to have a better experience myself.....believe me when I say...you will not regret trying Hollman 's Steakhouse and Seafood!
