The waiter was very inattentive; we had to repeatedly ask for drink refills, and when he ignored our requests, we ended up searching for someone to assist us. Eventually, I found our server, but he just disappeared behind the bar without checking back in. When I went to look for him again, he was casually texting instead of working. I had to approach him to remind him that we needed our check. The drinks weren't good, and the food was just mediocre at best. For two people, the bill came to $70, which felt like a lot for the experience we had. Overall, I was extremely let down.
Hostess was unfriendly, refused to let my wife, 2yr son, and me to sit down at a table because one other person in our party was not present and in a store checking out, even tho the restaurant was completely empty at 11:30am. Waitress was in a rush for some reason got only half our order before we had to flag her down to get the rest of our order, forgot to bring drink, I guess that what?s happens when they don?t need to work for their tip since they add 18% tip to your bill anyways. Do not recommend.
Went on a Monday afternoon 3pm. Place was empty. One table in a section. Server mainly spoke Spanish, I needed my friend to translate. The food was ok. Nothing spectacular. Food pictures look good ???? Gratuity was added on a table for 3 people? ????
Food was good. Our chef, Javie was 5 star. The wait for our food was incredibly long. Why I am giving a 2 star review? The bathrooms were disgusting. When I pay close to 100 for a meal, including drinks, I expect a clean bathroom. The bathrooms have not had a proper cleaning in a long time. Absolutely disgusting!! The baby changing table?no words.
I highly recommend making a reservation if you can, as hibachi meals tend to take a bit longer. We started with the God of Fire roll, which had a delightful spicy kick without being overwhelming. For our main course, we all opted for the special: Wagyu steak with twin lobster tails. This came with a house salad (I’m not a fan of ginger dressing, so it was just okay), along with vegetables and fried rice. The steak and lobster were definitely worth every penny; they were delicious and a generous portion—I even had to take some home! The Old Fashioned was incredibly smooth and went down a bit too easily. The Tokyo Sour was also a refreshing and tasty choice. Unfortunately, we were too full for dessert, but I’ll definitely be back to try some next time!
