Give them a try and definitely only try the machete if you are hungry or if you are going to spilt it with another person. Well worth it!!
Nice small place with a chill vibe. Tacos and quesadilla were good, well priced. They didn't have the margarita on their menu, but you definitely get your money's worth with it, it was HUGE! The place has a few street parking spots in front on 27th Ave, but also free parking in the back. I'd definitely go back for some tacos and another margarita!
If you are looking for authentic Mexican food, this is the best place we have found in Miami. The huarache was fantastic!. The only con i would say is the place is rahter small and some of the tables are tiny. But it is definetily worth it for the food.
First time having tacos al pastor and loved them, and the 'Jamaica ' ju8ce is delicious. You can really tell the tortillas are hand made. Quiet environment, good attention and good food.
This restaurant is truly exceptional. As a Mexican residing in Miami, I've found no other place that offers such authentic flavors. I highly recommend trying the tacos de asada or al pastor, or the machete, which is a huge quesadilla filled with your choice of meat. The salsas are deliciously spicy, and the horchata is freshly made—it felt like heaven on earth. Chef Oscar Rubi is undoubtedly one of the best chefs in Miami. I’ve never felt more compelled to write a review, but the chef and this establishment have definitely earned it.
