Firstly, the Calentado de la Casa I was served bore little resemblance to any Colombian dish I have ever known. It seemed like a random mix of ingredients thrown together, completely lacking in authenticity. The dish was devoid of the vibrant colors, distinct flavors, and rich aromas that are hallmarks of Colombian food. Additionally, the presentation was a complete disaster. The meal arrived in a chaotic jumble, with the ingredients barely discernible from one another. It looked as though it had been hastily thrown together, with no care for detail or aesthetics. To make matters worse, the taste was utterly uninspired. The flavors were bland and lifeless, lacking the vibrant spices and seasoning that should have made the dish come alive. Eating it felt more like consuming a generic mix of leftovers rather than a thoughtfully prepared Colombian meal. The absence of attention to flavor and seasoning left me yearning for the authentic and enticing tastes I had hoped to enjoy. In conclusion, my experience with Choripan was a massive letdown. The misleading representation of their Calentado De La Casa and the poorly executed, unappetizing dish left a bad impression. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for a true taste of Colombian cuisine.

Terrible food—avoid at all costs! There were pieces of plastic in my omelette, and even though I indicated that I'm allergic to tomatoes, my meal was loaded with them! Do not waste your money here; find a better place to eat!

I was disappointed with the Calentado de la Casa. It definitely didn’t taste like a traditional Colombian dish. Instead of red or brown beans, it was made with black beans. Everything was also mixed together, including the eggs.

This place offers the most affordable breakfast without compromising quality. The staff here are fantastic and provide excellent service. I don’t visit often, but when I do find myself nearby, I always make sure to stop by for the pan con tortilla — it's delicious!
