Forno Italiano Pizzeria - Miami

I absolutely adore this place, so cosy and delicious, food is always freshly made, it is a family owned business therefore they are not going to have the staff that cheesecake factory has so y'all need to relax LOL! as a miami local i come here all the time a I have never ever ever experienced what the negative reviews state, love this place!!

I visited this restaurant for dinner and wanted to sit outside. While it was quite hot, the shade made it comfortable. We were told to take a seat and that menus would be brought to us. After choosing a table, a server—who appeared to be in middle or high school—asked us to move to a sunny table because there was a reservation for four people coming. However, all the other tables outside were empty at that time. Frustrated, we decided to leave and get food next door. As time passed, no reservation or additional guests came to sit outside. I find it unprofessional to have inexperienced staff handling customer service in a restaurant. Asking customers to move when there are plenty of empty tables is simply rude. Having worked in the service industry for eight years as a manager, I believe customers should be allowed to sit where they feel most comfortable. That should be the priority.

Good pizzas but not the service!! Needs to improve. Customer service is very important in a restaurant and this place is lacking in that department.

I tried to explain how serious this situation was since my daughter could have eaten it if we hadn’t called to confirm. The owner responded by yelling at us, claiming he marked the box (which he did not), and insisted that we didn't order gluten-free, even though we clearly did. I offered to send him a copy of the receipt and photos of the boxes, but he refused to accept that. He continued to scream, insult us, and accused us of lying about our order, even going so far as to threaten us, saying we should come to the restaurant so he could prove his point. When we went to write this review, we weren't surprised to find that many other customers have had similar experiences with this extremely rude and aggressive owner. BE WARNED: at this restaurant, the customer is always wrong. I strongly advise staying away!

This place is amazing. If you're looking for a cute place for a date or local place to enjoy a quick bite, Forno is the place to go.
