As for the service, we had a reservation, yet they gave our table away to a couple who walked in right before us, despite us arriving on time. When the hostess realized her mistake, she became flustered and passed the issue off to another staff member. That person asked us to wait at the bar for a table to open up outside. No big deal, as we weren't in a hurry, but when a small, cramped table opened up inside, they seated us there instead, despite our reservation for an outdoor table. It was a tiny space; at 5'11", I struggled to fit my legs under the table. Throughout our meal, we had to repeatedly ask for water, as the waiter was rarely around. A series of small issues stacked up, contributing to our overall frustration.

When we arrived we were warmly greeted. Table was nice and ambience inside out was good. Food was good, but salad and cooked veggies were below par. Broiled chicken and chicken milanesa with respective mashed potatoes were very good. Skirt steak was below par. The service was very good, very attentive friendly.

The service was excellent, and the cute, European-inspired ambiance added to the experience. The side salad was delicious, but my Milanesa (la Toscana) was just mediocre. While the steak is meant to be very thin, it was actually too thin for my taste—I could barely tell if there was any steak at all! I also brought home a Milanesa la Toscana for my husband, and he didn't enjoy it either. My mom and I split the bill, each of us paying for two Milanesas and half of my sister's Aperol spritz, and it came out to over $55 after tax and tip. That felt a bit steep, given the overall experience.

The place is charming but the food is a different story. The skirt steak had not been trimmed and I ordered it medium. It came back well done and very chewy. They took it back and brought back medium but it was still a disappointment. No flavor! Versalles makes a better skirt steak than this place. I wouldn’t have minded paying $40 for a good skirt steak but this was bad.

Dined here for the first time last night and for our table it ended up being a huge disappointment. The steak was over cooked, tough, and unseasoned, and the chicken lacked flavor and was dry. Even the fries were plain. With all the restaurant options available this falls short of desirable.
