Uma - Miami

We came for a birthday dinner with another coupleAnd we had a top experience from food, service, conversation with the manager.

We tried the Miami Spice Menu and overall, the menu, food, and ambiance was very good.

OK first time in a new restaurant (used to enjoy the old one The staff has the right attitude, the new contemporary look is MUCH nicer.

Wings was raw and ****, ribs was all fat and service was terrible.

We were three adults with two (nicely dressed and well mannered) kids at 5 in the evening on a Sunday. The restaurant was 1/2 empty and the rude hostess shoved us at a tall bar table in between a service station and the kitchen door. After asking someone other than the hostess were moved to a regular table. The waitstaff was either overwhelmed or just terribly trained. Service took forever, orders were wrong, and the music was unnecessarily loud. BBQ brisket tasted like it was pounded with a mallet and soaked in liquid smoke. The one good thing I can say about this place is that the onion rings were incredible.
