Uptown 66 Taqueria - Miami

The tacos are delicious and the flautas are some of the best I have ever had. The restaurant is small, so parking and seating can be limited, but it is usually not too crowded to find a spot.

The best tacos in Miami are definitely found at this place. They outshine my previous favorites in Wynwood and South Beach. The masa taco shells are exceptional and all four tacos and two burritos we tried were delicious. The meat, toppings, and salsas were all amazing. They give generous portions of verde and rojo salsa for free, unlike the place in South Beach which charges extra. The food quality and value here are unbeatable, even compared to popular taco cities like San Diego and Austin where I have spent a lot of time.

I consider myself an expert in birria, so I make it a point to try all the different birria dishes in town. I recently tried the birria at Uptown 66 and it did not disappoint. The quesobirria was perfectly crispy on the outside and the consommé that accompanied it was delicious. In addition to trying the tacos, elote, salad, and shrimp, I have to say that the birria will always hold a special place in my heart.

I've done ate here everyday since I've been in miami, the pastor tacos and chicken nachos are the best.

Heard on Good Morning America about this place. We are always looking for good Mexican food and this place did not disappoint. We each had something different and it was all real good. Only downfall would be sitting outside in the heat of South Florida. Would recommend to go on a cooler day when you want to be sitting outside.
