Totally a terrible experience, 3 drinks and an average afternoon tea, especially for £40 person for bottomless brunch which obviously wasn't bottomless, waitress told us 1 and a half hours time limit, but after an hour we were told our time was up, when confronted about being ignored as she ask all the other customers if they wanted anymore drinks and ignored us she denied it, totally rubbish stay clear

Brilliant food and staff. They really worked hard to please their guests. Great table service so we didn't need to go to the bar for drinks. They had been under staffed dye to illnesses and had a lot of people booked for christmas dinner and the staff available were running about picking up the slack so professionally. Well done! Well done to the chefs for producing great Christmas roast and well done to gemma for keeping everything flowing as best as possible.

I took my mother here for her birthday for afternoon tea. The waitress and the waiter were absolutely lovely. The afternoon tea was really nice apart from the coffee not being very hot. It all went down hill when the bar maid accused me of lying!! I have never experienced such poor attitude and behaviour towards a customer. She continued to raise her voice arguing with me, whilst trying to provoke me, until another customer approached and then she tried to back track on her actions. She had absolutely no customer service or communication skills, and no knowledge of how to resolve problems effectively. Such a shame, as she completely ruined the first impression and experience we had up until that point. No customer should have to endure that behaviour and feel they need to justify themselves. Really poor.

My Husband and I had an afternoon tea. It was so yummy. Sandwiches, hot sausage roll and a vegetarian hot cheesy pastry for me. Cheese scones also plain scones served with cream and Jam. Drinks of our choice we had tea again really tasty. Also a selection of cheesecake and chocolate cake. We were both extremely pleased and very full. The staff were very helpful and very welcoming. Would definitely go again.

This was probably one of the best Sunday roasts we have had in a long time. The food was delicious with generous portions, and the staff were friendly and polite. The only downside was that it seemed a bit disorganized, but the great staff and food more than made up for it. We will definitely be returning.
