Bono's Pit -b-q - Middleburg

Our granddaughter stopped by for a quick snack and had the chili, which was amazing. She also enjoyed the sweet potato, which was excellent! Everyone was friendly and seemed genuinely happy.

There are very few barbecue places in Middleburg, and today's lunch at Bono's was one of the best we've had. The ribs were fantastic!

The servers were excellent, and I loved the atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food was the worst BBQ I've ever tasted. The sausage was tough, although it had a great flavor; the ribs were hard and consisted mostly of bones with barely any meat; and the brisket was the worst I've ever had—I didn't even have a steak knife to cut it. However, my girlfriend enjoyed her pork sandwich.

I love Bonos BBQ. It's by far my favorite BBQ restaurant. I went to the Middleburg on Blanding Blvd and was completely disappointed. I had the brisket with French pommes. My wife had the 1949 burger, loaded with a sweet potato. My bride was dry, hard and tasteless. You shouldn't have to be a fool. The fries were delicious. The 1949 burger was dry, no salt, no taste, and mine said it was like eating paper. I've never had a problem, so I'm a customer again. I hope that was a fuke, but this fuke deserves a 1 star rating.

Was not a great dining experience. We was very disappointed with the quality of the BBQ pulled pork. Not much flavor from the cooking process, almost like the meat was cooked a few days prior to it being served. The coleslaw was bland very little flavor. Staff was friendly.
