My wife and I visit Middleburg, VA once a year for rest and relaxation. We have been coming to the Salamander restaurant every year also. We look forward to the excellent quality food and home type atmosphere. This past May, we were there for lunch and the manager Jack came over to check on us. He was so friendly and we had a great conversation. We bragged to Jack on the great thing the Salamander has going and how much we appreciate the great and kind staff. Keep up the tradition. Located in downtown Middleburg, this restaurant is a fantastic local spot offering sandwiches, drinks, coffee, and fresh pastries. We tried the delicious BLT wrap and Crab Cake sandwich, as well as the recommended Korean sliders which had a smokey and slightly spicy sauce. The restaurant is beautifully decorated to give off a European cafe vibe. Our only issue was the long line to order and checkout, as it was located in the middle of the dining room. Despite this, we had a great experience and the food was definitely worth the wait.
