Waffle House - Middleburg

The food was average and somewhat overpriced. The staff was friendly, but the service was lacking. I had to repeatedly ask for coffee and remind them about an incomplete order, which arrived in bits and pieces. The restaurant wasn't busy, as it was after lunch, and the staff seemed to be standing around. Overall, it was not a great experience, especially considering the $34.00 bill for two people—it just wasn’t worth it. On a positive note, there were no fights in this W.H.

The restaurant was poorly managed and not clean. There was trash on the floor, and it felt chaotic and disorganized. I noticed a staff member using a dirty rag to wipe silverware and other surfaces, which was off-putting. The food was served at inconsistent intervals, which was really frustrating. We generally enjoy Waffle House, but this location didn’t meet our expectations. I recommend going to the one in Orange Park instead; it's much nicer.

As always, the food was delicious. The waitress, a seasoned lady with a voice roughened by years of smoking, was quick to serve our food and drinks. There’s something about Waffle House that evokes a rush of memories—happy meals shared, good times enjoyed, and a comforting sense of consistency with both the food and the familiar atmosphere.

The food is always good, the staff are always nice and helpful and the place is always clean even the bathrooms.

We ordered a take out and the waitress forgot my special pancake. My husband drove back to let them know. The waitress refused to make it right. A Bad and disappointing service. Customer service needs improvement.I don't recommend for anyone to eat or order a take out. They are not true to their words. They wouldn't accept their faults. They owe us a money back for something I didn't eat.
