Maggie Mcfly's - Middlebury

We had an outstanding experience at the restaurant. Every dish we tried was exceptional, and the manager, Samantha, was fantastic. Our host was highly professional and kept the place clean. This time, we ordered nachos with beef, which were spectacular. We also had shrimp fajitas and steak fajitas, and everything we ate deserves a solid 10 stars!

I ordered the wagyu burger, which was well-prepared overall, but I feel that a 4.1-star rating is justified. The server forgot to ask how I wanted my meat cooked, so I ended up with a medium cooked patty instead of well-done. The mashed potatoes were good, although they lacked garlic. The gravy was delightful. Overall, there's room for improvement.

My first time with this Maggie's and I was impressed! The layout was pretty cool and could definitely see that this was a hot spot in the summer. The service was remarkable, and the food was amazing! I'll be back soon.

For years, I used to visit Maggie McFly's in Middlebury, but after hearing positive reviews from my family, I decided to give it another try. It was a Sunday night, and the restaurant was packed. We waited in the bar area until our table was ready. The hosts and waitstaff were very friendly and accommodating. Although the food took a bit of time to arrive, it was fresh and didn't disappoint. We ordered a lot – from drinks to appetizers to dessert – and everything was prepared well or promptly corrected if there was an issue. I ordered a salad that came dressed instead of plain, but they quickly replaced it without any fuss. I stepped outside my usual choices and went for the Shrimp Vegetable Risotto. It looked fantastic, had a more pronounced lemon flavor than I expected, and was quite filling. The drinks menu is extensive, but I definitely enjoyed the Strawberry Basil Mule again. I will definitely be returning! A tip: while waiting, enjoy a drink at the bar, and if you order a cupcake for dessert, ask whether it’s been taken from the cooler while you’re eating your meal. Otherwise, it will be too cold to fully enjoy.
