I highly recommend trying the chow mein at this restaurant, as it is one of the best in the area. The flavors are old-school and hard to come by nowadays. Those who complain about it clearly haven't tried other Chinese takeaways in town. Give them a try and you'll see what I mean. My only complaint is that they are closed on Tuesdays.
Only bought chips with curry sauce and then noodles chips and curry in a tray. Honestly the noodles smelt like someone had been blowing cigarette smoke all over them and even tasted like cigarette. some of the chips just didnt taste nice atall. Been here loads of times before for the same food, certainly wont be going again
Picked up a meal for four from this restaurant tonight. It was the worst Chinese food I have ever had. The dishes seemed to have been prepared several days before, with the duck appearing to be pre-cut and very dry and diced. The pancakes were small, and the chicken balls were strangely cut in half and extremely dry. The sweet and sour sauce was watery and unpleasant. We ended up having to throw most of it away. I would recommend avoiding this place at all costs.
My boss recommended this restaurant to me, and since I live less than a mile away, I decided to give it a try. I placed an order for pickup and was excited as I drove there. However, when I got back home and unwrapped my food, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment. The rice tasted like it had been fried in glue, the curry was mediocre, but the chips were good and there was plenty of food. Maybe the rice was just a mistake or they were having an off day, but looking back, I wish I had never gone there.
