Stacy's is a local hidden gem that has recently gained popularity, thanks to the foodie community on TikTok. I'm thrilled to see them getting the recognition they deserve! I've been ordering takeout from Stacy's for a while, but I recently had the opportunity to dine in, and I must say that enjoying the food fresh is far superior to takeout. Everything is made fresh to order, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive! My personal favorites are the beef patty sandwiches (stuffed with oxtail or jerk chicken) and the jerk chicken dinner. My friend loves the oxtail here and claims it might be some of the best she's ever had. If you find yourself in the area, I highly recommend checking them out. While the seating is limited, the delicious food is sure to please anyone!

First, the service was quite slow because their debit card machine was malfunctioning, forcing everyone to pay in cash. I had to make a trip to the ATM to withdraw cash. We ended up waiting an hour for our food, and I found their menu a bit misleading. It lists the stuffed patty at $7.99, but if you look at the wall, it states that the oxtail patty is $11.99. They really need to be upfront about their pricing, or they risk losing customers. Also, be cautious with their hot sauce; it's extremely spicy unless you're used to a high level of heat. As for the oxtail patty itself, I thought it could have used more seasoning—it tasted quite bland to me. They certainly added a lot, but at $11.99 for a single patty, I expected more flavor. The service needs improvement as well; there were many frustrated customers waiting for their meals. They really should implement a better system and adjust their prices to be more reasonable. I think this will be my last visit, as there are better Jamaican food options in Toronto.

If you’re in search of deliciously flavored jerk chicken and tender oxtail, you’ve struck gold here! All the entrees came with rice and peas and coleslaw, both of which were expertly prepared and complemented the meat dishes perfectly. The rice and peas were the best I’ve ever had, especially with the oxtail gravy poured over the top. The service was quick and friendly, as it’s primarily a takeout spot. The prices were fantastic considering the generous portion sizes, and I can’t wait to return to try their stuffed patties!

This little hidden gem is located off a less popular plaza on Sheppard East and VP. If you go during lunch time, expect a lunch crowd! They offer a few tables for people to eat their take out packaged food, but most people get it to go. The food is fresh, and tasty! I got their jerk chicken meal and it came with coleslaw and rice with peas. Their jerk chicken was really flavourful, and their coleslaw was refreshing. The only thing I didn't like as much was the peas it seemed a little off. Overall though, I feel like I like their food more the real jerk. Pro: Credit card payments are accepted here!

I got the jerk lunch special. And then added on the oxtail main (based on feedback from other customer). Lunch special was 10/10. Chicken was 10/10. Just Mind the bone prices. Meat was cooked perfectly. fall off the bone! Sauce 11/10. Lady offered me extra sauce, and she wasn't wrong. Sauce is Best in Toronto! Coleslaw 8/10. Yummy. Just needed more. Rice and peas 8/10. Flavour 10/10. Oxtail's quick bit taste, flavour was great.
