Grandpa Joe's Candy Shop - Middletown

This is such a fun store from the beginning, but I had a remarkable customer service experience. A friend's mother passed she asked if i could find some if her hard-to-find favorite candy to pass out at the funeral. I had a long to-do list, so I messaged Grandpa Joe's late at night just to clear my mind of the task. I received an immediate response they went into action trying to get the candy which was out of stock in transit. To be honest, I don't know if the candy will arrive on time for the funeral, but that is zero fault to Grandpa Joe's. I am grateful for the after- before) hours effort! Thank you!

Some items are highly overpriced and can be purchased at the dollar store much cheaper but the nostalgia is great and some items you just don't see anymore which is cool

Loved all the different kind of candy they had. It’s a unique candy store that you definitely should visit.

Visited Grandpa Joe’s with my daughter. They have an amazing assortment of candies. Some I haven’t seen since the early 80’s. My daughter was impressed by their wall of flavored soda pop. Definitely a great place to visit.

The atmosphere was fantastic and they had a wide variety of sweets and other items to choose from.
