Feedback gevenI ordered the popcorn chicken, and it was hard and dry with hardly any chicken in it. I would be embarrassed to serve that to anyone—it clearly was very old. The meal was supposed to come with a biscuit, but they forgot to include it. The staff weren't very friendly either. I doubt I'll return, especially since other KFCs operate much more efficiently.
We ordered five large sides, but they didn't even fill the bucket. The chicken was tough and seemed very old. This KFC location is disappointing, and I won’t be coming back. They really need to improve their service and provide customers with what they pay for. With a family of six, we expected more than what we received.
This restaurant is terrible! The food doesn’t taste like KFC at all! The staff struggles to understand English. I asked one of the employees about the new Mountain Dew flavor because I’m allergic to peaches, and they disgust me. He just replied that it’s a new flavor. I insisted that I needed to know the ingredients, but he said he would add it to my order. I firmly said, "No thank you," and that would be all. I remained calm. When I reached the drive-thru window and tried to explain my allergy, it was my fiancé who eventually found the information on Google—it contained peach. After I explained this to him, he just said, "Okay, I’ll give it to you for free!" At that point, I gave up and refused the drink. Other employees were listening, but they didn’t understand either. I took my food and left. If they can’t comprehend something as serious as allergies, they could put someone in danger. Just be sure to know what you’re getting! From now on, I’ll be heading to the KFC in Cromwell, even though it’s farther away. Now that I realize they only know the bare minimum here, I know I can look things up beforehand. However, the taste of the food is completely off from what KFC should be.
I went inside and this will be the last time I visit this KFC. I wanted to add an extra item, some gravy, after my order was bagged but before I paid. The staff gave me a really rude attitude and I didn't end up getting my gravy. I'll gladly drive the extra three miles to Meriden instead. It seems like there's always some kind of issue or attitude whenever I go there.
The service is disappointing. They only picked up the phone the first time I called, and then I was hung up on before I could even ask my question. The person I talked to was quite rude.
