Awesome, excellent pizza, the flavor, the crunch, the aroma, just perfect!!! We finally found 'our favorite ' pizza place! Great, friendly staff! How can you ask for more??!!!

I visited this pizza restaurant as a first time customer while staying at a hotel close by. As a teen in the 70's I worked at what I would argue was best pizza restaurant in the town of Southington. And so I am very tough to please when it comes to pizza because I could make my own. I typically scrutinize restaurants that make pizza that is too thin, or are very skimpy on toppings. Pizza Palace is far from that. Their pizza is nicely thicker, cooked perfectly, and compared to others they add a very generous amount of toppings, and of course I will notice the sauce. I've bought pizza at other places and walked away thinking the box weighed more than the pizza... NOT this one! If you're like me and prefer a thicker Italian style pizza and want to feel like you got a lot for your money, this is a great place to go. I got take out, but they have a really nice dining room too.

The best pizza in Middletown and delicious meatball grinders? 7/22/22-uh oh that was 3 months ago. I'm sorry I don't like the new pizza. They refurbished the interior. The old layout was better. The pizza is different, the meatball parm is different. I asked about roasted paprika on the meatball parm and they did not seem to understand what I meant. They initially put them on the side, but when I picked up my order, they asked about the paprika and I said I would like them on the back. They sent them back to the kitchen for a second to recharge the paprika. Back the day jimmy and forty were excellent. Then new owners took over, but with the same recipes. Now I can't tell you what's going on. I'm sad. I changed my rating. Two stars?
