Shaddocks has been here in Middletown for years. Their pizza is fantastic, as are the other choices like their sandwiches (Italian sausage, meatball, mushroom gravy steak, and hoagie), specialty pizzas(BLT, Taco, Buffalo Chicken, Hawaiian Chicken Bacon Ranch), appetizers, and side or Italian salad. The staff are courteous, efficient, and are known for the quality of all that they offer. They have Coke and Pepsi products, beer, and wine. I have always found their food to be delicious, especially the meatballs. They are a mainstay and better than any other pizza places. They have daily specials (Monday-Saturday. The pizza was decent, though it had a bit too much sauce for my taste, and the crust could use more flavor. Overall, it's a solid option for pizza. The restaurant itself is a bit worn down, but I think that's common with small mom-and-pop establishments. Customer service could use improvement. The woman who answers the phone and handles the checkout seems genuinely unhappy, which is hard to describe but really comes across in her short responses.
