My reasoning for a three is because when I grabbed my first beer I asked what beer they had as it was lit dimly. I have a very hard time going from extremely light to dimiliy areas due to eye issues. The bartender proceeded to point at the taps instead of asking what kind of beer I was looking for. I understand that there were a lot of people but that imo is unacceptable.
No prices for the wings on the menu. We ordered boneless wings and were charged an extra $1.50 for boneless. Our waitress didn't mention the extra charge. Service was very slow. Had to walk to find our waitress a few times, to order more food and then again to get our check. A shame, because the food was delicious.
My family and I have followed sweet onion brewhouse since they were in pine island. When they were there, there was a certain authentic esthetic that really made it a unique place. The previous location in Chester was decent, but I have to say this new bowling alley location does not seem to be their best move. The food was great, but the current atmosphere is going to sink them. They have a lot to offer with great food the staff at this location was nice as well) but they completely lost that original esthetic. The menu has changed from their original which I thought was super unique and set them apart. The craft beer list was minimal- 2-3 local IPAs, but had blue moon and angry orchard listed as craft on tap sorry not craft in the sense of a brew house). I really hope they stay afloat since there is much to offer, but just not in this particular location.
Terrible service! took forever to receive order. We were warned there was an HR wait, but we waited 2 hrs!
Had it from the bowling alley side. Can only order by scanning the Q code and can't simply get a refill of soda. Have to scan it all over again for a simple soda. They also wanted a tip through the ordering process and they didn't even bring it to our lane. Annoying...
