La Piazzetta Midhurst

We have been to La Piazetta Midhurst on a number of occasions with varying levels of satisfaction. Following the last visit I am afraid we will not be returning. We chose the set menu special and none of us were happy with our meals. the starters were probably the only highlight of the meal but they were not anything other than Prawns Marie Rose and Melo with Prosciutto. My main, veal escalope was dry and tough as was the same dish that another member of our party had. The other main was swordfish which had a sweet sauce on it for some reason and was not good. The desserts were almost passable but the size of them was too much this would be the Tiramisu. The chocolate pancake was ok but nothing special. So all in all, I think this was the last visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first dinner in the establishment having moved into the area recently and I'm sure we will be back. The quality of the food and wine and the service was excellent and it was very good value overall.

La Piazzetta is a gem, we’re so lucky to have them in Midhurst
