Boy, I'm glad I did it! The blue moon on the design only makes the food taste still delicioso! Salud! PS of flan is to die and the best tables in the house are in the bay. That's just my opinion. Xoxo
Abuelo? The Mexican restaurant is a good all-round place that has something for everyone. There is a complete service bar and the margaritas are the highlight. I drove with beer because I like it with Mexican food. Chips and four types of salsa. The Tomatillo is a little sweet for me. The sections are right. The taste is abundant. The music is alive and reminds me of Selena's style. It's just not an authentic Mexican food. I ordered the Steak Fajita Tacos. The waiter said, "Steak tacos." It was good. I used to be fajitas with vegetables and it wasn't. Just not what I expected. I'm not saying, don't go. I'd go back, but with different expectations. You can see that I didn't leave much behind the plate.
Great restaurant! The Combo Fajitas were good, and the beer was cold, but just a little flat. The service was great, the waitress was quick and friendly. I would recommend my friends to eat here.
Good stuff, it was so excited. I'm always looking for Mexican food that reminds me of home. If you come in, you're not greeted by the hostess. You just happen to wait on the front until they come from their phones and ask you how many. He sits four times on a table, one of the legs being bent. I had to use their sugar packages to stabilize them. Our waitress was great except immediately to ask if we were ready to order dinner. We let them know that we first wanted to order drinks and measure the menu. She often came back and was on time. Hard waitress. The food is cravings and blandes. I assume to accompany everyone, you leave the spices and give the light taste. From the three Salsas had no heat. We ordered the big Guac, and it came as a few pots of purée guacamole cut with some tomatoes. Same texture as you imagine frosting pressed out of a pocket. Fajitas for two, was our order for dinner. They allow you to choose 4 options. We chose double meat and double vegetables. We have what one would suspect for one on the beef phajitas and stir frige veggies in butter. They also gave us a small side of beans and rice (the same amount you get elsewhere), and our waitress confirmed that the individual plates have even less. The cattle phajitas had no spices and were instead grilled like a regular steak. You'd try the same thing with Outback. I wouldn't recommend coming here for Tex-Mex or Mexican food. Although this could be a good place to bring children, because everything was simple.
It was good for tex mex style food. But there were just a few things that hesitate to give it a 5 star. First, our guacamole was like 50% lettuce, which is unusual. Next the service was a bit slow. I had to get up to find my waitor to ask for more water. Overall the place is inviting and clean. The food is decent, but with the abundance of Mexican places around Midland, I'd try other places first before going back.
