Feedback gevenI started with the white cheddar stuffed mushrooms for my appetizer and then ordered the Atlantic salmon, along with a baked sweet potato and fried Brussels sprouts. I also enjoyed a Blue Moon beer. The mushrooms were delicious, and the rest of my meal did not disappoint either. The salmon was perfectly cooked—nice and tender without being overdone. I loved the baked sweet potato topped with butter and brown sugar; if you haven't tried it before, I highly recommend it. Trenton struck the right balance; he checked on me without being intrusive, offered dessert, and demonstrated exactly what a good server should be. Having worked in the restaurant industry myself as a server and dining room manager, I believe more places could benefit from having someone like him on their team. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I plan to return before I head back home to Colorado on Monday. There are plenty of great options here, catering to everyone’s tastes, including a variety of vegetarian choices.
This was our first experience at this restaurant. The Tonions were lightly breaded and fried to perfection. My Parmesan Chicken was quite large (I ordered the 9-ounce portion available at lunch), and the steamed broccoli was perfectly cooked, vibrant in color, and not overdone. My spouse thought the breading on the Chicken Fried Steak was a bit too thick, and the fried okra was served as whole pods rather than cut, with some still having parts of the stem attached. We decided to order dessert to go, but they were out of Molten Lava Cake, so we opted for the Chocolate Stampede instead. This dessert is massive—it could easily serve four people! The portion was extremely generous, and the ice cream came tightly packed for the freezer. Connie, our server, was attentive without being intrusive. We will definitely return, as there are other items on the menu that I would like to try.
We visited this restaurant for the first time on the Saturday before Father's Day. The atmosphere was lovely, and our server, Jeremy, was very attentive and helpful with our questions about the steaks. I was pleasantly surprised by everything—the raspberry tea was delicious, and the steaks were cooked to perfection as we requested. The sides were also very tasty. The only downside was that we didn’t have room for dessert, and I heard they have an amazing chocolate cake with ice cream that I definitely want to try next time. Overall, it was a five-star experience!
Unexpectedly great New York strip! I never imagined they could pack that much flavor into a New York strip. It tends to be one of my favorite cuts because I like a leaner cut of meat but I also understand it comes with a little less flavor than say a bone-in, ribeye etc. Not here! My goodness it was literally a shock to the taste buds. I was slightly distracted from playing on my phone (as I was eating alone) when I took my first bite, it got my attention. At first I wasn't even sure I liked it as I wasn't expecting it, as my brain took a sec to process it I realized this was amazing, so much flavor. Not to mention I usually avoid any fatty or grisly parts of steak but this was so well cooked, I picked medium by the way, every oz was devoured. The steak was so good I'm not going to knock them for it but the dinner bread that comes complimentary was not my favorite, I ate it all as I'm a fatty but the butter was cold making it near impossible to spread and the bread was kind of dry and not really warm enough to melt the butter, but that's okay, that's not what you come here for. On a side note the service was tip top, and while this was my first time ordering the New York strip, or any steak from here believe it or not, I have come to love their asparagus. I just happen to love asparagus in general and theirs doesn't disappoint. It's so good I got two separate side orders. It's cooked perfectly and it's not that sad skinny, flimsy stuff some restaurants try and pass off and charge too much for, I would literally come here just for the asparagus, and I guess I can add the New York strip to that order. Oh I did get the mashed potatoes for my side and it wasn't terrible, could have come to the table a bit warmer for my preference and nothing to write home about but not terrible. But again the steak gets this 5 star review, kudos to the chef, I was really caught off guard and blown away.
The steak was absolutely amazing!! Perfectly cooked!! We went for my husband's birthday last night and we were extremely happy with our meal and service!!!
