The shrimp fried rice was horrible big chunks of onions and the rice was gummy. I use to order from them along time ago and the food was so good. It’s ether a new owners or new cooks. I will never Order again from them.
I grew up eating Gum Wah down the street … however En Lai is definitely one of my favorite Chinese restaurant to date! Food is always hot. The vegetables are always fresh. They have an awesome lunch special. The prices are equal to what you are getting in return and we believe they have fair prices. Today we had their general tso chicken, which is on the lunch special so it comes with rice (fried or white your choice a can of soda and vegetable roll! The chicken is cooked to the perfect crisp, sauce on point. We also had the kung pao chicken. The sauce is spicier but too spicy. The chicken is not battered but cut thinly and is so soft and juicy. Mixing the left over sauce and vegetables which all the extra rice I have left was awesome. Super quiet insides but that how we like it : sorry no food left to show it was too good
Soo just tried them the food was fresh fast hot shrimp perfect!!!! But.... With the lunch specials only come with plain fried rice w/green onions no egg no beans sprouts even if it doesn't have meat can we get the egg bean sprouts PLEASE so I added egg they just cracked a egg last minute so I had clumps of egg white and clumps of yoke didn't like that but everything else was delicious
I had defy rise that the beef. I guess had big chops of onion that isn't that supposed to be in beef fried rice? The fried rice has egg in it and green onion. Not regular chunks of onion.
En Lai is a Great Restaurant. They make You feel Welcome. The Service is Fantastic. And most of all they get Your Order right and the Food is really Good. I wish a lot of places did as Good a job as they do.
