La Lorena - Miguel Hidalgo

Horrible experience. We initially managed put a reservation but then at our arrival reservation was gone we had to wait minutes and then after they gave us a very small table where we waited for whole hour before somebody neared us ;...at the time my only request was the bill and the desire to write this review

Saturday had brunch with my friends for Christmas. It was an amazing and peaceful experience, the food awsome, there are no better mimsosas and scones in Mexico City. But the best part is that they have a card game for kids ¨Memoria¨. That was such...a lovely gesture for the little visitors. We had an amazing time, amazing food and amazing service.

Found small pieces of glass inside the marmalade. After informing the manager, seemed they didn't care much and only send one scone as apology. Shameful customer approach. What if we really got injured eating the glass?

We did not enjoy our experience at La Lorena. We arrived around mid-week and were seated right away. Then it went downhill quickly. The server was lacking, couldn't answer our questions, yet was pushing Mimosas even though we said we weren't interested several times,...wouldn't let us select our own flavors of scones, told us there was only one kind of black tea (there are actually several) and then the English Breakfast he forced us into was bitter. The coffee arrives in a tiny cup, it was maybe The mains were okay but nothing special. We bought scones to go and some were large while others were small. The scones were good but not good enough to return. It is overpriced for what it is and I can't imagine I would return given all the better options nearby and closer.

After 30 min , the waiter brought coffee and juice . Missing one !20 min more to bring breakfast : no yogurt for the fruit ! Eggs cold and missing ingredientes : the meditaran omelette should have nuts and olives . None were found ! To apologize , they offer scones . Everytime I go , it is the same !Instead of giving scones , they should do simething to offer better service.
