When i asked if we could change the given seats, he actually scolded me, saying this was a bar, not a cinema. We didn't want to make a scene, so we stayed anyway. It was obviously very unpleasant.
Went to this restuarant with a group of friends. Cocktails cost at 10 euros and you can eat whatever you want from the table. I would say this is an amazing place in milan. Would recommend it to anyone visiting milan. Cheers. will definitely visit again.
My summary of this wonderful find was “meraviglioso!” (marvellous! to the Italian lady at the neighbouring table. I was wandering around the vicinity of my Hotel Ariston in Milan, (not far from the Duomo , looking for a reasonably priced un touristy restaurant when I chanced upon the Cheese Cafe. It offered a “Happy Hour” from 17.30 21.45 Mon Sat. You buy one drink for €10 which includes all you can eat from a sumptuous buffet of delicious cold and hot dishes, mainly vegetarian with a few meat offerings, as well as desserts which included my favourite: Tiramisu. The drinks menu is extensive, with a long list of cocktails served in super large glasses, with a base of rum, gin, brandy, whiskey, vodka etc as well as beer and wine. My choice was a Mai Tai: white rum, Jamaica rum, Cuban rum, Triple Sec, Grenadine, lemon and passion fruit to die for! The (un happy hours are from 21.45 2am daily Sundays. Da Vinci’s “Last Supper” is to be seen in Milan, but my last supper before flying home was at the Cheese Cafe!
Visited this place in the Aperitivo period! they can have a drink and unlimited food for 10euros! great chance to taste various Italian dishes.
Most places in the region offer in average 15 euro per person a buffet and a drink that we just like this situation happen
