The Riverside House - Mildenhall

My husband an I stayed here while on a working trip. Our room was quite spacious with a lovely view of the hotel grounds and river. Loved the staff. So very kind. Having stayed here for a week, it felt more like a home away from home. Sabrina, our server at breakfast, was amazing. Our meals were delicious. We visited in October of 2020. We never imagined it would be our last trip out of the US for a while. We look forward to the time when we can visit again. We will stay longer. So many beautiful memories were made. We recently celebrated our wedding at The Riverside this past weekend, and they did an incredible job. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and everything was well organized. The food we selected was delicious, and there was more than enough for everyone. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout the day. The bedrooms were beautiful and very comfortable, contributing to a truly memorable experience for all our guests. Everything went perfectly. Thank you to Alicia, Suzanne, Jonathan, and the entire team for making our special day unforgettable!

The food was outstanding and far exceeded our expectations—hats off to the chef! Everyone praised their meals. For our evening buffet, we requested some nostalgic retro food rather than “fancy fare.” My partner had a craving for cheese and pineapple, along with pickle sticks. When I shared our requests with Julie, she loved the idea. Instead of the basic grapefruit topped with sticks we had anticipated, they surprised us with adorable hedgehogs! Our honeymoon suite was stunning, and the thoughtful little touches from the staff were delightful. On behalf of myself, my husband, and all our family members who stayed here, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks for making our day so perfect. We can't wait to return for another visit!
