Feedback gevenI made the unfortunate decision to have lunch here.Upon walking in we were not greeted, even by the young lady right behind the counter. We sat ourselves down and then had to ask someone behind the counter whether we order at the counter or if our order gets taken, as nobody still had not acknowledged us. After watching some other people walk in, we realized you were supposed to be seated by staff. Being a friendly person, I am never rude to those who work in customer service, so I was a bit taken aback when the waitress with her iPad walked over to our table and said 'ready to order?' Still no hello! Perhaps she was salty that we sat outselves down, but I don't find it appropriate to walk into a restaurant feeling like a clown, standing around when there's no sign saying 'please wait to be seated'. I got a risotto, which I added mushrooms to, and my partner got a steak sandwich. She gave us table water. The most disgusting part was it was evident that this bottle (I can't speak for the others as I didn't see them) had obviously just kept being refilled with water, and never washed, both on the inside and outside. We decided to pour a glass each but not drink it, as we requested the water but didn't want to look rude. There was a grime substance that's typical when something doesn't get washed for a very very long time, and the outside of this bottle was very dirty also. You can see this in the image.I've never had a more burnt, disgusting risotto in my life. As you can see from the picture, my mushrooms were black, and the whole dish tasted black and burnt. It left an after taste of bile in my mouth. I only consumed about three mouth fulls. My partners steak was pink, and the copious amount of onion on the sandwich was unbelievable. After we left, we needed to eat something else ASAP to remove the taste from our mouths. If this place is going to continue to have carpet, the least they could do is dry clean it. The walls are in need of a good wash too. Have a mentioned it was overpriced for the quality?Yes, we should of said something. But in a restaurant where you're not greeted, sense bad vibes, receive the most dirty water bottle you've ever seen at a restaurant in your life, where a chef sends out a meal that clearly looks burnt, enough onion on a sandwich to surely be a joke, are the staff really going to care that you didn't enjoy it? So in this case, we decided to just pay and leave, and never go back to surely one of the most disgusting places in Midura.
I was staying locally so pooped in for breakfast. I was greeted warmly and promptly seated at a table. From start to finish the service was fantastic, welcoming, friendly and with a smile. The food was nicely cooked and plated up, reasonable prices and a big selection. The atmosphere, although quite large, didn't feel big, it has been designed so that you can chat to people but don't need to yell to be heard above others. This place might be my choice for breakfast tomorrow too, if your on a good thing, stick with it I guess.
We stopped here with our extended family for breakfast. It was so good we went back the next day!Meals were fantastic, service was absolutely outstanding. We had young kids in our group and they had a few toys for them to play with, our little girl loved her babycino and was doted on by staff. Highly recommended!
This is a great place for breakfast. Food is lovely and service good. Had poached eggs that were cooked to perfection. Others had bacon and eggs and loved it. Their tea is also good, Served in a pot rather than the limp tea bag in hot water you get in so many places now.
We had a group of 5 and had breakfast here twice. The servings were substantial and very tasty. The staff were very friendly and attentive.
