Springfields on Deakin Restaurant

We are from Melbourne and decided to try out this restaurant after reading the great reviews. The atmosphere is cozy and fitting for a restaurant connected to a family motel. The staff is exceptionally friendly, helpful, and attentive to our dining needs. However, the food did not live up to the hype. While we enjoyed our time here, we feel it is important to provide an honest review. We ordered bruschetta as an appetizer and two parmis for main course. The chips were good, the salad was fresh, and the bruschetta was served on warm bread and was decent. The parmis were a disappointment as they were lacking in toppings. We had high expectations based on the reviews, but unfortunately, the dish fell short. Overall, the staff was lovely, but we would not recommend this restaurant for the food quality.

Room looked clean, but with further inspection it is not so clean. when we filled the spa, says the whole dirt that came out of the nozzles that it is not clean, and then the dust.

Large menu options with meals cooked by a good size to captivate and definitely very tasty I had the steak with dianne sauce, which was quite perfect and the woman loved her caesar salad

We had a lovely evening at Springfields. We shared some laughs, enjoyed some delicious and tender bark meat, and savored a beautiful garlauchbrot appetizer. We finished off with some sticky date and chocolate puddings, along with a bottle of Shinas Executioner. The service was good and it was a pleasant evening with great company. Overall, a fantastic night.

This restaurant has received many positive reviews on Trip Advisor, but I have not personally dined here. I am leaving a review to let others know that the restaurant is located in a motel and does not offer a high-end dining experience as expected. Three menu items were unavailable during my visit. I am giving it 4 stars because other aspects of the restaurant may be great. I recommend checking it out yourself if you are looking for a quality dining experience. Hope this information is helpful.
