The Riverhouse Cafe - Milford

We stumbled upon this hidden gem by chance. We had planned to go to another diner, but it was closed on Tuesdays. So here we were, four big guys in search of a decent lunch. The seating was quick, and our server was not only fast but also polite. She took our orders, and before we knew it, we were enjoying well-prepared, delicious café food in no time. To be honest, I thought about giving them a half star off for the price, but I ultimately decided against it. Times are tough, yet I still left a 20% tip. An empty plate is a true sign of good food! LOVE, PEACE, and BACON GREASE!

I was in the area and unsure where to eat, so my friends and I searched for restaurants nearby. We stumbled upon Riverhouse Cafe and were initially hesitant to try it, but we decided to go for it. The food was incredible!!! We didn't expect it to be that good. The service was also very friendly.

This delightful farm-to-table gem located next to the Milford Oval is truly a treat. It features spacious outdoor seating, as well as comfortable indoor dining options. I enjoyed the Veggie Club on gluten-free bread—so delicious that I found myself wishing I could order a second one! My father had the house beef hash and eggs, paired with a homemade cookie, and he left no crumbs on his plate! This place is definitely a new favorite. They offer great choices for both meat lovers and vegetarians, along with a few vegan options. Plus, they have gluten-free bread, pancakes, and French toast available.

Today was my first time in this restaurant and will not be my last time. All about the experience was great. They were able to record our big group of 8. Our server Courtney was attentive and friendly. All our food came out at the same time, with many employees who bring it together, which was a nice touch. The manager came by to see how our experience was before our departure. We all ordered various items and each of us enjoyed our meals. I am a great fan of all gluten-free options they offer. I ordered the semi-sized comosthaufen, one side of the homemade corned beef and a freshly pressed orange juice. It was delicious! I highly recommend giving this restaurant an attempt!
