Fiddlers Green - Millbrae

This was the perfect way to conclude a long trip. The atmosphere felt truly authentic, and the food was incredible! I highly recommend it – 10/10!

We had a mid-afternoon meal (3:00pm). Bangers and mash we're very good. Fish and chips were just okay. The fish was very thin and heavily breaded. The service was decent, but not very friendly. We had to sit outside, literally on the street. It's a nice place, but could be much better. As with everything here, prices are way too expensive for the product.

I love the area where I live, but unfortunately your neighbors may not love you back. They have a full house for the soccer game, but I was asked to leave for no reason that I can understand besides my appearance or physical traits. There were others standing in the bar, and I was not blocking the view of anyone watching the match. I asked why I was unable to stay and I got a blank stare. I asked someone else in case my instinct was off, same response. They are not friendly.

We had a 6pm reservation and our table was set up ready for us at 6. Cocktails were good and strong. Appetizers were good but way too much food. Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs. Dinner was excellent, our service was handled by several people, so at times seemed spotty. The food was a more upscale pub grub and done exceptionally. This was my first time but I'll be back.

Fiddlers is a generational favorite spot in Millbrae. The food is generally good but can miss occasionally. My only complaint is the high noise level at dinner time but we’ve gone there for so many years it’s just part of the experience now.
