In the mood for Thai - MILLERS POINT

I spent a week in Surry Hills and have tried several coffee joints for my morning coffee (I normally take a large latte). In the Doghouse is by far one of the best in the area (within 10 mins walk radius). Temperature is just right, not too acidic and very balanced.  If you go there for brekkie, make sure you try their bacon egg roll too. They welcome dogs and staff are very helpful and friendly.

This cafe is dog-friendly, allowing dogs inside. The burgers are tasty and the all-day breakfast is affordable. The staff are very nice. Even better, they have a menu just for dogs. Our dog Rocket loved the pup-sized "pupperccino" and enjoyed the bonus biscuit. 4 out of 4 paws!

The decor of the café is simple, reminiscent of a Thai restaurant, but the food is amazing. The coffee is delicious and the avocado shake is a must try. The fries are triple fried for an extra crunchy outside and soft, fluffy inside. The bacon and egg roll with tomato chutney is a standout dish, while the breakfast burger with hashbrown is a hit. The haloumi hash stack, featuring two haloumi-infused hashbrowns, is a must-try with its yolk porn money shot. It's a great place for people-watching with quick service and friendly staff.

Pretty solid little place. A few small service issues like not enough cups and having to ask to get wafer refilled but other than that everything was great. Nice art on the coffee too.

What an amazing place! We were visiting from out of town, and were greeted and treated like regulars! Super friendly staff, and crazy good food.
