We were over 3hrs from home and the owner feels like a friend to us. He is great, even after the tough time life has recently brought him. More so, his fruit wines are to die for, especially when one is in the mood for something so tasty! We really enjoyed the one on one with him and the two other couples that showed up during our visit. If we ever get anywhere near this area again this is the place, we will visit first and foremost! Thank you!!
Very cool little winery. Owner was very nice and let us sample as many as we wanted. I also bought the Cab, it was very good but I drank it before I could take a picture of it…. Oops!
We had a day out and remembered friends telling us about the place. We were very pleasantly surprised to find they have dry fruit wines(sweets also)! One being black currant! Never had one before. It's quite tasty! And such a refreshing change. The only other winery we've been to with dry fruit wines is in the Leech Lake area of Northern Minnesota. Its nice having a local winery with something delicious unique to offer.
The owners are very friendly. We enjoyed our visit. My husband and I tasted several wines, in which all of them were delicious!! We bought dry peach, blackberry, and blueberry. Great winery in the Shipshewana area!! A must try!
Went here today with my wife and the wine was very good. I had the dry mango and she had the sweet blueberry. The tasting room is very small and it was raining out so you could only drink inside. They had to bring out 2 stools for us to sit on, good thing there were only 2 of us otherwise more people would not have fit. Need to improve their seating plan or somehow expand. Go check it out if you are in the area
