Subway - Millersville

The sandwiches and cookies are consistently tasty, and the owner is extremely welcoming. The staff are also friendly and courteous.

I tried to remain friendly, but I must say I am very disappointed after my recent visit. Firstly, every time I come to this restaurant and order a honey oat bread, I specifically request whole wheat bread instead. However, when I inquire about the whole wheat bread, I am assured that the honey oat bread is what I asked for. Secondly, I am not sure if there is a lack of management oversight, but every time I visit on a Saturday, there always seems to be a shortage of staff. I feel sorry for the sandwich makers who are left to work alone. Thirdly, I consistently find that when I order a pepperoni pizza and witness how it is prepared, it often arrives undercooked when I get home, despite living less than 5 minutes away. I end up having to microwave the pizza, which is disappointing. I understand that times may be tough and staffing may be limited, but this should not excuse leaving an employee to handle a heavy workload alone. Management should provide support. In comparison, the Subway on Mountain Road near Pizza City in Pasadena is consistently excellent. I have never encountered any issues there in 10 years of patronage. In contrast, I know the management at this restaurant tends to leave employees to fend for themselves. They also own a Subway in Southdale Shopping Center in Glen Burnie, but I cannot speak to any recent changes there. Perhaps consider supporting a local mom and pop shop for subs instead. There are many options available in the area.

There is a lack of organization and efficiency at this restaurant. The long lines and unnecessary wait times are frustrating. Why make customers wait 10 minutes for a simple order that could easily be handed over promptly, especially when there are multiple staff members working?

Our favorite subway. the restaurant is clean and the staff is very nice. it is a bit hidden in the shopping center, but it is worth finding. highly recommended.

I’ll echo a few other comments that either the manager or owner, a middle-aged woman, is extremely rude and off-putting to the point where I walked out, with my sandwich 3/4 of the way made. She was uncomfortably rude and disparaging to her younger male employee who was obviously new and needed some training, and then she turned her sourness towards me. She told me that I asked for too many vegetables, and that the sandwich could not be made. I was surprised but also not surprised that she decided to be rude to me and lecture me, too. So I looked at the younger employee, told him I felt bad that he worked there, and walked out the door.That lady is awful, beware.
