New England Outdoor Center

I wish I could give them 10 stars. These people were more than great. We took the tour on the pontoon boat and enjoyed our guide and spend time on the water. That's a beautiful place. Then we had car problems and Max tried to help us and he himself YouTubed possible solutions. However, the car was fixed. We went to the restaurant and had a wonderful meal. Crab cake, steak, fries, salad and deserts so delicious. But so good the restaurant was Paige our server was also wonderful. But somehow the owner of the place found out that we were stuck and offered a cabin for the night. Such goodness. The cabin was absolutely beautiful, clean, spacious and so generous of the owner. We thought we were sleeping in our car and not in the beautiful cabin. Thank you, NWOC, for saving us and helping to break a car, not so terrible. All employees were excellent, helpful and well maintained. We will be back!!!!

We stopped by for lunch and were pleasantly surprised! It had been several years since our last visit. The lodge is stunning, featuring a simple dining room that overlooks Millinocket Lake. Having lunch with the majestic backdrop of Mt. Katahdin across the sparkling blue waters was truly a marvelous experience. The meal was excellently prepared, comparable to top-notch restaurants. The staff was attentive and served our food promptly. It's about a 15-mile drive from Millinocket, so be prepared for that, but it's definitely worth it. After lunch, we wandered around the grounds. There are several rental cabins available, a lovely waterfront area for boating or swimming, and the landscaping is impeccably maintained, with various plants, flowers, and a garden full of vegetables and herbs. I’m sure we will return much sooner next time!

Fantastic location with stunning views and a wonderful atmosphere! I absolutely love the River Divers Restaurant. The food is consistently delicious. While the menu is small, it offers a lovely variety, and I enjoyed everything I tried. I can't wait to return and dine on the beautiful outdoor terrace!

Terrible. Completely disorganized. We followed the directions where we met for rafting, and no one told us that the meeting was somewhere else. There was no phone signal so we couldn't call to find out. We finished tracking and found it just to miss the whole trip! We're all 10. In the following week I called out when the photos are posted. No one knew, but he said they would come back to me. No one. I called several times, left messages, by email, no answer or where they are. Finally, I see on the website that the rafting was published the day after our photos, so I called to find out when our only being said they were completely deleted!!! One of the managers said the owner called me and told me what happened and that I was hired, but nobody did... so the owner is a blatant liar. Even the staff admits they are frustrated because of all the disorder with the owners! Do not waste your money from NEOC go locally to Moxie Falls or another rafting business.

My friend and I rented some kayaks and had a wonderful time paddle around and in the view around Millinocket Lake. For two kayaks for 4 hours were 80 bucks. They have a beautiful seat in kayaks and some also sit on the tops. After you are ready to paddle, you can have a nice picnic on some of the benches or eat in the restaurant.
