Holly Lake Campsite - Millsboro

This is a family-run campsite where everyone puts in a lot of effort to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. They've recently built a fantastic new reception area and store, which includes a restaurant. There's also a spacious new event room. I can't wait to return this year to catch up with old friends and make some new ones!

While the facilities may not be brand new, they are incredibly functional. There is ongoing construction for a new front office/store, which is set to be completed in July. It’s a family-friendly environment with plenty of activities, such as a petting zoo, cornhole boards, a recreation area, showers, restrooms, personal fire rings (wood bundles available for $7 cash), water equipment, and playgrounds. The site has 100 campsites, all equipped with water and electricity, as well as a few cabins available for rent. It's a family-owned operation with security and maintenance staff on-site, although they primarily handle operations. Overall, I would recommend this campsite! The prices are reasonable, and it’s definitely worth a visit.

The campsite needs improvement. The site markers are poorly indicated, and the bathrooms could use some upgrades. We had to ask for a map to locate the dumpster, but there wasn't even one available. With some effort, this place could be fantastic.
