Honey Thai - Milpitas

Ordered house fries rice with chicken. It was bland and not tasty. I would not recommend it and the food is expensive as well. Thai Ice Tea was really good though.

Worst service at a Thai restaurant in a long time, if not ever. Came in for a quick lunch, everybody else was there was already seated in already had their food and was enjoying it. I ordered the lunch special, red curry with bell pepper over rice with chicken. Told the server that I was stepping out to make a phone call, as I was on a lunch from work. This was after he had brought me my water and the waitress at taking my order. Came back in 10 minutes later, I waited another 528 minutes when I start to notice that my server is peeking out of the kitchen door window at me. Turns out she never put my order in, or the cook never made the order. At this point I had to take the order to go, which they put together about another 10 minutes later after it was done being made. As I 'm waiting to pay, which took a while as well, I noticed on the wall behind the register is a little cartoon picture that says God knows when you don 't tip . Talk about uncomfortable Does God also know when you forget to input my order? I left, Unfortunately they did not get a tip for me because the service was so poor. But I shouldn 't be mentioning that, since God already knows. Worst part about it all, when I finally got back to work and started eating some of the food, the curry was flavorless. It basically tasted like half and half and unseasoned chicken. There was absolutely nothing to it, now mind you I got the mild version but I 've gotten mild versions of Curry 's at several different restaurants before and it 's never been flavorless.

The ABSOLUTE WORST Thai restaurant I 've ever been to. 1st time was 2 months ago; food was bland, small in portion and amount of meat. Second time was by accident and the food was horrible; spicy but no flavor, overcooked noodles and while my 3 companions were eating I had to wait 10 more minutes for my food. We were the ONLY people in the restaurant. My friend told the waitress her dish didn 't taste the same as last time. She didn 't offer to remake it, just simply said, Sorry about that . Another friend ordered curry and sad it was bland.

Red shrimp Curry was great. My wife did not like the chicken curry. She said the chicken was bad tasting. Egg rolls are good. Pricy for what you get.

Two of us came for lunch, once on a weekday, and once on a weekend. Both days the service was good, food served quickly hot cooked to order. So far we've tried the larb salad, yellow curry, pad se ew, fried spring rolls, and the crab fried rice. The yellow curry is very mild by default, but still quite tasty. The crab fried rice was hands down my favorite version of this dish from any of the Thai restaurants we frequent, it was well seasoned, well cooked, and a generous portion size. The pad se ew is one of my favorites, I always get it with chicken, and ask for it spicy. All in all, this place has passed the test, and I would recommend to friends and family.
