However, when using my AMEX on a business trip, my options are limited. On a recent journey down Highway 401, I found myself hungry and stopped off in Cambridge. Although I initially thought I found a restaurant that accepted my card, I was mistaken. Fortunately, I stumbled upon Mary Brown's nearby. The no-frills decor of the establishment left me a bit unsure, but I decided to order the two-piece chicken and potato meal. The chicken was tender with a light, tasty breading. The potato wedges were plentiful, but the coleslaw was lacking in flavor. The gravy was on the salty side, as it was made with a beef base. Overall, the chicken was superior to that of the Colonel's, but the side dishes could use some improvement.
I really don't know how KFC and Popeyes can stay in business when Mary Browns chicken is 100 times better tasting and not greasy, and gotta loves those taters
Fresh piping hot chicken and taters, Excellent friendly efficient staff ALWAYS . Orders are made when you get there to keep the chicken and everything fresh. I prefer Mary Browns over Swiss chalet any day..
Very friendly staff. Quick service. Good food and price is comparable to other fast food restaurants.
While waiting for my order the blousy, unkempt counter person had to go out for a smoke, leaving the door open so I could get the benefit of her cigarette
