There are no words that could express how good the food was on our first visit. We have a gem right here in our local area. The Savior of Soul Food. I will be a frequent visit from Pensacola.

I ordered food at 5 and they close at 6 by the time I got home with my order. I realized it was all wrong I called back at 5:45 and no one answered, I left a message and no one ever called me back. I won't be going back. At this point it's not about the money, I got food Friday and now its Monday with no phone call.. Your staff should do a better job. I only got a response because I wrote a Google review. Just do yourself a favor and goto one of the other 10 bbq places in the area.

Very impressed. I called in a lunch order for my family. The crew was friendly, they had our large order ready to go promptly, it was packaged thoughtfully, all of it was piping hot. (The prices are also very reasonable. The food was so delicious. The collard greens, cornbread, homemade Mac n Cheese are all must-try items, we really enjoyed everything. It's obvious when food is made with skill; but this food was also made with heart soul. We look forward to next time! Thank you!

My wife had a veggi plate and I had fried ribs. The food was very good and I am sure we will go back again.
