Great delicious, bread is soft the meat stacked, cheese , lettuce tomato, everything fresh you can taste it. The half size is like a regular at other places so it?s a lot of food, they pack it in???????? Clean place, friendly, great service and great attitude. Definitely worth having a subhere! Note that?s not an L in the name it?s an i. I thought it was knuckles. ???????????????? Would I go here again? Yes.
I visited the new location in Sandy Springs and ordered a mini sandwich, expecting it to be half a sub. However, it turned out to be only a quarter of a sub, more like a kids meal. I asked about the banana pudding and was told it was excellent, made fresh daily but only available while supplies last. I paid $5 for a dessert expecting a decent portion, but it was just one small scoop. Upon getting home, I discovered old brown bananas in the pudding, which was very disappointing. See attached picture. Overall, my experience was not satisfactory.
The portions are small and the flavors are bland. The sandwiches look much different in person than they do in the pictures online. I was so unsatisfied with my first sandwich, which was essentially just two slices of deli meat on bread, that I ordered a second one hoping for improvement. Unfortunately, the second sandwich was just as disappointing. Overall, these sandwiches resemble something you would find in a school cafeteria and are definitely not worth the price. I left feeling very disappointed.
I was visiting my eye doctor and he recommended it because he visits often. Since I was over in the area I decided I can check it out. It was not busy at all. I noticed they have the Happy Hour from 3-6 pm and I got there around 2:15. There was an older guy who greeted me but didn?t help me, he seem confused or lost, not sure. I asked since I was new and I didn?t want a big sandwich would they be willing to let me do the happy hour early, but obviously as the young guy, Dustysaid he couldn?t because it was a set button in his system. No problem that wasn?t my point. So I ordered the Ultimate which didn?t allow me to order as half. The young guy had trouble remember what I wanted removed and added as Iemphasized several times I did NOT want Mayo. Over $10 for this sandwich for only the sandwich. I noticed when Dusty was taking my order with gloves on he wiped his face more particular his nose. I then asked was he going to be preparingmy sandwich once he replied yes I told him I saw he touched his face and nose and needed him to change gloves. As my sandwich is being made, I then asked because no one asked me can I have wheat bread, in which the white was changed towheat bread. I ate my sandwich and was very underwhelmed for the price. The meat which included, Turkey, ham and roast beef was very bland and watery tasting. It was loaded with lettuce and oil. The pickles had no taste and could barelytaste the mustard. Overall I was not impressed with the service or the food, although it was recommended and looked nice and clean.
I have been a patron of this restaurant for two years and have had 15 excellent experiences in the past. However, during my most recent visit on 10/8, they were unable to make their signature sandwich. My wife and I decided to order different sandwiches instead, but unfortunately, they got both orders wrong. The wait time for the sandwiches was almost 20 minutes, and one customer had been waiting for over 35 minutes. The staff seemed confused and disorganized. I usually love the food here, but this experience has caused me to lower my rating from 5 stars to 3 stars.
