Subway - Milton

Sandwiches served here are typically better than surrounding subway shops I've never had a better footlong meatball sub at any location besides this 1. I'm pretty sure the owners use there own meatball marinara recipes, phenomenal flavor compared to all the others I have ordered from in size/taste/texture.

I didn't catch the name of the gentleman who served me today, but he was incredible—so hardworking and polite. He truly deserves a raise! He was handling a large number of customers all on his own and never once appeared frustrated or upset; he remained positive throughout. He had dark hair and was on the shorter side. I really wish I could thank him again for his outstanding service!

The staff there seem a bit unprofessional. I’ve witnessed one of the employees nodding off at the register, which was quite surprising.

I completely disagree with the other review. There’s plenty of parking available out front. The spots near Subway are typically empty, with only a few cars round, and there aren’t any apartments in Perry Morris Square. The food here is good and prepared quickly. I’ve never had an order messed up during my visits. Although the dining area is small, it’s hardly ever crowded. The ingredients always look and taste fresh, and the bread is no exception. Most of the staff are friendly, though, like anywhere, some can have a bit of an attitude. However, since you’re only there for a short time, it’s not a big deal. The only real annoyance I have with this Subway isn’t even their fault. Sometimes, the police come on their lunch break and park in the fire lane, which partially blocks the entrance.

What can I say? I absolutely love Subway! However, I've noticed that some locations are better than others. The last two I visited had either unhappy employees or problems with their cash registers. If only the company would pay their staff a bit more, they could attract higher quality workers! Subway has a great product and decent prices, especially with the $5 footlong specials, but it's really the employees that make the experience worthwhile.
